How to Pay the Immigration (Travel) Loan
All resettled refugees are issued a loan (about $1000/person) by the Government of Canada to cover the cost of transportation and travel documents. All AURA sponsor groups are required to repay the loan on behalf of the newcomer before the end of the sponsorship.
*refugees leaving Israel have their travel covered by the Israeli government
*refugees from Syria who arrived in 2015/6 had their travel covered by the Canadian government

-You will need the full name, birthdate, address and UCI (Unique Client ID Number, found on Immigration Documents) for the Principal Applicant of the application (or call with them).
